Mommy & daddy won't let me sleep with them at night so I have to sleep by myself in this big box thing. I mean, it's comfortable and everything. They got me this really comfy bed and my own 'Seahawks' blanket (I'm still trying to figure out what that is and what's the big deal about it), but I just want to cuddle up with mommy & daddy! They leave me all alone. But mommy put this box thing that plays the most soothing noise, it just makes me fall right to sleep. I really like that guy mommy calls 'Bob Marley.' He has the same name as me, but mine is spelt way cooler. Oh and those two guys, 'Jack Johnson' and 'Frank Sinatra?' Oh man, I'll be crying up a storm and as soon as I hear their voice I don't feel so lonely anymore!
Anyway, my uncle Patrick woke me up this morning. He was making so much noise! Then my mommy came to take me outside and go pee. Mommy gave me lots of kisses for peeing outside, so I think I might do that just to get some more. I made an accident once today though, but mommy and daddy weren't paying attention to me because I kept telling them I haaaaad to go pee real bad! So I just went to teach THEM a lesson.
Mommy & daddy also took me to the park and we had tons of fun running and I chased mommy and daddy everywhere. They even let me off my leash! Oh, and then daddy found a cool thing called a 'playground' and I got to go down the slide for the first time. It was kinda scary so I really didn't want to at first, but mommy was at the bottom to catch me and it was alright.
We went through the trails and I discovered what a 'creek' was. I didn't know water could make so much noise!
We went back inside and I was soooo tired, I knocked out right away. I think mommy & daddy did too.
I went to the 'vet' for the first time today. Mommy & daddy kept making a big deal about it, so I was a little scared, but we went in, and it wasn't so bad! I saw other dogs there too! Big ones that I've never ever seen before. I wanted to say hi but mommy wouldn't let me.
Next we went to this amazing store and I smelt a familiar scent and found a HUUGE bag of my favorite food! It was way bigger than the bag mommy & daddy have for me. I watched mommy & daddy get my 'i.d. tag' from this noisy thing called a machine. It was really loud. I didn't like it. And I don't like when mommy rolls down the window in the car. Those things that fly by the window are really loud too. ANYWAYS, I guess this i.d. tag says my name on it so in case I lose my mommy and daddy, it has my information so I can go back home to them. I hope that never happens though. I can't even stand when they leave me alone in the room for 5 minutes!
Then mommy took me to her work to meet these other humans called her 'co-workers.' They were okay. I was reaaal tired though, but mommy kept saying I was being a good girl so I guess I was being well behaved. I was hoping she would give me some more of those **treats from this man that gave mommy & daddy food through the car window. I don't really care too much for human food but mommy kept insisting. It was really good!
It was a tiring day so I went to sleep to Frank Sinatra again in the car. When we got home, mommy kept trying to wake me up but I was so grumpy and tired I didn't want to talk to her. And what was even worse, as soon as we got outside, it was really really cold, and those little humans were being really loud and touching and trying to hold me and it was just really uncomfortable. Finally mommy and daddy took me away from those little demon humans and brought me inside. Grandma and grandpa were home when we got there. I played with daddy for a while, but a puppy can only play so much! Mommy put me in my kennel and put on my sleep music and I fell back to sleep right away.
The day's not over yet though! I still have another 4-5 hours to create terror in this apartment. I'll post pictures tomorrow! Stay tuned :]
