My day started out when I woke up this morning and some visitors were in our house. My brother and sisters were all excited because Bob & Viv said they were coming to take one of us home. The humans said they were looking for a boy but they kept saying "Wow he's a big boy" about my brother. And then I walked up to one of the humans and put on my oh-so-irresistible charm & won over the human's heart. And they thought they wanted a boy! Ha! Anyways, I had fun showing off my toys and showing how cute and cuddly and lovable I am and my new mom and dad filled out paperwork to take me home. The car ride from Granite Falls to my new home in Everett was far, but after squirming around a little bit in mommy's lap, I calmed down and took a nice little nap. Mom kept making these weird noises though so I'd look up at her all confused and then she'd stop and laugh. Then I'd get comfortable again and I'd hear her again! I don't get what that noise means but it sure is weird!
I'm getting comfortable in my new home though. I have no more brother and sisters to share and fight over toys with (my mommy and daddy had a billion already for me when we got home!). I thought I'd show the humans who's boss by peeing and pooping on the carpet unannounced. I played and caused a ruckus. Mom & dad had to chase me around for a bit. Then I got reaaal tired and took a nice 30 minute nap. Then when I woke up, I decided to pee on the welcome mat, but Grandma got real mad and made me sniff my own pee and then put me on this white pad thing in the corner of the room. Now I know which humans I can't get away with stuff with. Anyways, Mommy took me on a short walk today after my nap and I was just on the trail of so many funny smelling things. I met a bunch of other little humans that kept making lots of weird noises and touching me. I also met another beagle. It was a like a future me!
I've been playing all day and I'm about to take yet another nap. Napping is my favorite favorite thing to do just to let you know. I guess I will post pictures later when I feel like it.
